Objective: To become employed in an entry-level position of an X-ray Technician or X-ray Technician / Medical Assistant primarily
in an outpatient medical environment, i.e. urgent cares, medical offices, orthopedic offices, chiropractic offices, industrial medical
clinics, and family practice.
Educational Objective: To educate students to acquire satisfactory skills and demonstrate competence
in Radiographic examinations to be performed under the scope of the permits of Chest, Extremities and Torso-skeletal categories and
to educate students to acquire satisfactory medical assisting skills and demonstrate competence of clinical skills in injections,
venipuncture and electrocardiography. This education will consist of a didactic (classroom) and clinical education (externship). Upon
successful completion, the student will be eligible to sit for: 1) The State of California Department of Public Health, Radiologic
Health Branch examination for Limited Permit X-ray Technician and 2) The State of California Medical Assistant Certification Examination.

Orientation: A formal orientation is an information session to answer general questions
and receive information about the school and the program of interest. This session is to provide the attendee information in
the general type of duties, educational requirements and general program schedule. It is also the first step of requirements
for all potential students in the application process for enrollment. No enrollment is done at these sessions. Please
