JEM College was established
in 1996, as Central California School of Continuing Education - Corona,
to provide quality medical imaging programs (Limited Permit X-ray
Technician & Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound) to the Inland Empire
Radiologic and Medical Imaging communities. In addition we have also
provided education to Healthcare workers outside of Riverside and
San Bernardino counties, to include Orange, San Diego and Los Angeles
counties. The name was changed to JEM College in March 2009 with the
approval of the Accreditation Commission.
Joseph A. Melanson, the director of JEM College
and the founder of JEM Educational Services, LLC has over 40 years
of experience in the imaging profession. Mr. Melanson has been the
Director and Chief Instructor for Radiologic Technology, Nuclear Medicine
Technology and Limited Permit X-ray Technician programs since 1975.
Mr. Melanson and his instructional staff are experienced, knowledgeable,
professional instructors who are firmly grounded in the basics of
medical imaging, while keeping abreast of current advances for future
medical imaging trends.
It is the desire and goal of JEM College, a division of JEM Educational
Services, LLC to offer professionally career oriented programs and
related education classes which are relevant and up to date.
